Small Animal Husbandry I, II & Advanced

Formerly Rabbitry. Beyond cute and fluffy, this class will get you into the down and dirty of caring for small livestock. Students will learn how to feed, clean up, mend a fence and many other important skills. Warning: Discussions of life cycle, may be blood, always some poop. Dress to get dirty.

Small Animal Husbandry / Rabbitry is a full academic year (2 semester) class. However, new students are welcome mid-year. Please refer to the syllabus for class details. Note that the order of items may/will change based on the needs of the animals, skill level of the students and weather. Class will be held on Tues at 4 - 5:30pm starting on Sept 11, 2018 through Jan 8, 2018. Refer to the website calendar for scheduled days off and vacations.

Student will maintain a digital portfolio that will be shared with the partnership and the parents. Attendance will be taken as required by the partnership. Student will complete a final project before the end of the semester.
