Small Animal Husbandry (2nd Semester)

Formerly Rabbitry. Beyond cute and fluffy, this class will get you into the down and dirty of caring for small livestock. Students will learn how to feed, clean up, mend a fence and many other important skills. Warning: Discussions of life cycle, may be blood, always some poop. Dress to get dirty.

Small Animal Husbandry / Rabbitry is a full academic year (2 semester) class. However, new students are welcome mid-year. Please refer to the syllabus for class details. Note that the order of items may/will change based on the needs of the animals, skill level of the students and weather. Class will be held on Tues at 4 - 5:30 starting on Jan 23, 2018 through May 15, 2018 except for the following dates:

Spring Break 4/2 - 4/6/18.

Student will also be expected to attend and participate in the Student Demo / Public Open House on Wed May 23 from 10-3 (parental supervision required). There will be a dinner for the participants held Thurs May 24 from 3-5pm.
