Sewing III is a two semester (full academic year) class. However, new students are welcome to join us mid-year. Contact Ms. Frizzo to determine which sewing class will best meet your student's needs/abilities. Please refer to the syllabus for additional information.
Students at this level must demonstrate mastery of basic sewing skills, an aptitude for more difficult processes and a true passion for the craft.
Refer to the syllabus for more information.
A sewing supplies list will be emailed to you prior to the start of classes. By Sewing III, student should own a reliable sewing machine of their own.
Other supplies will be required as the student advances. This is not by any means a complete list but the basic tools and supplies are expected for third year students. Some basic supplies will be available for sale at our student run sewing store. A fully stocked "housewife" is to be brought to every class.
Classes will be held every Thursday at 2:15 pm until 3:45 pm starting Sept 13, 2018 through Jan 11, 2019. Please refer to the website calendar for scheduled days off and vacations.
Student will maintain a digital project and progress portfolio that will be shared with the partnership and the parents. Attendance will be taken as required by the partnership. Student will complete a final project before the end of the semester.
